Man of Steel

Man of Steel

Man of Steel had big expectations, Christopher Nolan being the producer, Superman III; Superman IV and Superman Returns being terrible but, when you come to think of it, it's not that great.

It had good actors: Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Russel Crowe and Kevin Costner (could be worse). But trying to give superman's story a dark tone was a bad idea, it worked with Batman, but Batman is a dark persona and has a sad story.

The Croods

Story by John Cleese.
Voices from Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds.
However it sort of is a rip off of Brave and Ice Age 4 Continental Drift.

Special - Terminator

1. Terminator
2. Terminator 2: Judgement Day
3. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
4. Terminator Salvation

Terminator:

Directed by James Cameron. Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese and Arnold Scharzennegger as Terminator. Great! There are some special effects problems but I guess that's acceptable in 1984.

8 out of 10.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day:

Directed by James Cameron. Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Arnold Scharzennegger as Terminator, Edward Furlong as young John Connor and Robert Patrick as T-1000. Despite the regularity of sequels being worse than the first one T2 is almost as good as the first Terminator movie. Edward Furlong is a terrible actor, besides T2, the only good movie where he has been is American History X.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines:

Directed by Jonathan Mostow. Nick Stahl as John Connor, Claire Dannes as Kate Brewster and Arnold Scharzennegger as Terminator.
Terrible! Terrible CGI, terrible acting and terrible directing. Very unfortunate.

Terminator Salvation:

Directed by McG. Christian Bale as John Connor, Sam Worthington as Marcus Wright and Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese.
Not good... Not good...
Another failed Terminator movie...
The biggest mistake in Christian Bale's life.

Special - Alien

1. Prometheus
2. Alien
3. Aliens
4. Alien 3
5. Alien Ressurection

Prometheus:

Directed by Ridley Scott. With Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender and Charlize Theron. Visually stunning, with better special effects than Life of Pi. A prequel to Alien! It's not amazing, but I personaly liked it.

Alien:

Directed by Ridley Scott. With Sigourney Weaver, John Hurt and Tom Skeritt. Spectular! It is wonderfully directed and has a great story. Loved it!

10 out of 10.

Aliens:

Directed by James Cameron. With Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn. Pretty good. Better than I expected. Michael Biehn isn't much of an actor but he pulled it off this time.

8 out of 10.

Alien 3:

Directed by David Fincher. With Sigourney Weaver and Charles S. Dutton. Expected more... Sigourney Weaver saved the entire movie. It is a bit weak. Ripley died!

6 out of 10.

Alien Resurection:

Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. With Sigourney Weaver and Winona Rider. The worst of the saga, it could be a lot better but it's terribly filmed! Disapointed.

Special - Jurassic Park

1. Jurassic Park
2. Jurassic Park - Lost World
3. Jurassic Park III

This trilogy is like the Matrix, the first movie is amazing, the second is fun but not so great and the third dissapoints you.

Jurassic Park:

Astonishing! The best dinossaur movie in the world! Sam Neill as Dr. Grant, Laura Dern as Dr. Sattler and Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm.

10 out of 10.

Jurassic Park - Lost World:

Fun... But could be better.
New character, Ian Malcolm's wife is played by Jullianne Moore.
The T-Rex in San Diego is what makes the difference between this and the first.

7 out of 10.

Jurassic Park III:

Dissapointed! Jon Johnston ruined Jurassic Park. Even William H. Macy couldn't save it.
